Defence manufacturing work instructions — scale production, keep the standard.
As production ramps up, new lines and new people have to reach standard fast. REWO standardizes the work with controlled, visual instructions and training records — and runs entirely on your own infrastructure, including networks with no internet access.
On-premise and air-gapped deployment available
The challenge
Why scaling defence production is hard
Ramp-ups with new people
Hiring fast means many new operators who must work to standard quickly.
Strict control of every change
Every revision must be approved, traceable and trained before it's used.
Closed networks
Sensitive production can't depend on outside cloud services.
Complex, low-volume assembly
Long, detailed builds where a missed step is costly.
In practice
How defence manufacturers use REWO
Controlled instructions
Only approved revisions reach the station, with full version and approval history.
Faster onboarding
Training paths built from the same instructions get new hires to standard sooner.
Traceable training records
Who was trained on which revision, when, and with what signature.
Inside your own network
On-premise on your servers, including air-gapped networks; authoring, delivery and the record all run locally.
Your identity and access rules
SSO, Active Directory or local accounts, with access scoped by role and site.
Audits
The record behind your audit
REWO doesn't certify your quality system. It gives you the record behind it — controlled, versioned instructions, sign-off tied to each revision and training records for every operator — without any of it leaving your network.

What we see in defence
European defence manufacturers are scaling production fast. REWO helps them standardize work as new lines and new people come on — on infrastructure that stays inside their own network.
FAQ
Questions, answered
- Can REWO run without internet access?
- Yes. REWO runs fully on-premise, including air-gapped networks. AI translation and authoring need external services, so on an air-gapped network you author by hand; everything else runs locally.
- Who controls the data?
- You do. On-premise, data never leaves your perimeter, and your own backup, monitoring and access rules apply.
- Does it work with our identity provider?
- Yes — SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and Active Directory / LDAP, or local accounts.
- Is REWO certified?
- REWO is developed and operated under an ISO/IEC 27001-certified information security management system.
