Automotive work instructions — right for every variant, ready for every audit.
From component suppliers to vehicle and caravan builders: REWO puts the current instruction for the exact variant at the station, in the operator's language, and records who was trained on which revision. The evidence your auditors ask for builds itself.
Audit-ready for IATF 16949 · ISO 9001
The challenge
Why automotive lines are hard to keep standard
Variants and changeovers
High-mix lines switch builds several times a shift. The instruction has to match the variant on the line, not last week's.
Audits that test the operator
IATF 16949 and customer audits ask who was trained on what, and whether the station shows the current revision.
A changing, multilingual workforce
Temporary staff, seasonal peaks and many languages on one line — with little time to train each person.
Launches and line transfers
New programmes and relocated lines have to reach standard fast, without rebuilding instructions from scratch.
In practice
How automotive plants use REWO
The right variant at the station
One scan, or a work-order trigger from your MES, opens the guide for that variant and operation.
Check understanding after a change
A short assessment confirms operators understood a revised instruction before the next part.
Certify for a whole line
Join a line's instructions into one course. Certificates expire on a schedule you set, ready for job rotation.
Training evidence on demand
Show an auditor who was trained on which revision, when, and with what signature — in seconds.
Move a line between plants
Instructions, revisions and training move with the line, in the receiving plant's language.
Audits
The record behind your audit
REWO doesn't certify your plant — your QMS and your auditor do that. REWO gives you the record behind it: approved, controlled instructions at the point of use, read-and-understood sign-off tied to each revision, and training status for every operator.

Questions, answered
- Does REWO make us IATF 16949 compliant?
- No software can. REWO gives you the evidence auditors ask for on work instructions and operator training: the approved revision, who was trained on it, and when they signed.
- Can each variant have its own instruction?
- Yes. Every variant gets its own guide, reached by a QR scan or opened by your MES from the work order.
- Does it work with our MES?
- Yes, through the REST API and webhooks. Or start standalone with QR codes and integrate later.
- Can temporary workers follow it in their own language?
- Yes. Guides are translated into 100+ languages with voiceover, so a new operator can follow the job from the first shift.
